I got this Award from simofutet. She’s that weird blogger who blogs about her weird, yet awesome musings. And you really should check out her blog. You can’t dream of leaving there without a positive feeling.

The liebster award is a blogger award for new bloggers or those with a small following. It is a way of giving new bloggers some recognition and encouragement for their hard work.

What inspired you to start blogging?

It all started the day a friend asked me to check out one of her blog posts. I didn’t know she had a blog, or that one could start a blog FOR FREE! It was a Blogger blog though, and I started it sometime in July or maybe, August this year.

After an unsuccessful blogging adventure, and just when I wanted to give up, another friend introduced me to WordPress. So, here I am! LOL. Blogging is my most recent project, and I now see it as my training ground to become a published writer. 😊

What three words best describe you?

Hah! I would say CRYPTIC, SARCASTIC, and OPTIMISTIC! I’m simply a blend of the three. 😏

What are you grateful for?

What am I not grateful for? 😂 I’m grateful for everything I have (and don’t have yet)! Most importantly, I’m grateful for life; my family; the kind of friends I have; and that HP laptop I’ve been eyeing but am yet to buy.

What advice would you give your 16 year old self?

I’d simply say, “Obi, smile everytime. Talk, laugh and do fun stuff with others so they know you’re not the proud, grumpy guy they think you are. Quit laughing at people’s grammatical errors too, and use the time you spend complaining about the many bad things in your life to be thankful for the few good things in it. And above all, love and believe in yourself.”
